Welcome to Academy of Burlesque & Cabaret, the professionally-led school for all things burlesque, showgirl and cabaret.

We run glamorous and fun burlesque hen parties (or any-occasion parties) where your group can learn to tease, pose and tassel-twirl, can-can hen parties where we’ll turn your group into a high- (or not-so-high-) kicking can-can troupe, showgirl hen parties where you’ll recreate the magic of the Moulin Rouge and take your place in your very own chorus line, and fan dance hen parties where you’ll become an expert teaser as you ‘hide and reveal’ with full size feather fans. Our hen parties are available throughout the UK and are suitable for all ages, sizes and abilities. We also offer expert tuition in burlesque, can-can, fan dance and showgirl in association with National Dance Centres across the country, with classes and workshops in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk and Cardiff.

Why not order our ‘Burlesque for Beginners’ DVD to learn in the comfort of your own home – suitable for all eager, active and armchair burlesquers!

Private bespoke tuition and choreography services are also available – please contact us directly with your requirements.

Based in Edinburgh and Cardiff, we are also professional burlesque performers, and run burlesque and cabaret dance troupe Enchanté, and specialist can-can dance troupe French Fling. We also have a strong team of London-based performers, and can travel UK-wide. Past work includes Scottish Events Awards, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, T in the Park and Casino de la Vallee, Aosta, Italy.

Wondering what burlesque actually is? Take a look at our ‘What is Burlesque’ page for more information.
