Falkirk burlesque classes - February 2012!

Unleash your inner Dita von Teese in our fun new burlesque classes for ladies of all vintages. Based on a combination of dance and drama, discover your inner performer with choreographer and performer Gypsy Charms.

Burlesque is as much about acting as it is about movment; escaping for a while to become a ’40s femme fatale, a wartime pin-up or a modern-day Pussycat Doll. Our Falkirk burlesque classes are intended to make you feel sassy and confident, taking you away into a world of glamour and laughter – be prepared to realise your alter-ego!

Dates in 2012: Thursday 9 February, Thursday 16 February, Thursday 23 February, Thursday 1 March and Thursday 8 March, 6.45pm-8.45pm

Location: FTH Studio, West Bridge Street, Falkirk FK1 5RS.

Special Screening of Burlesque film Tournee, with introduction by Gypsy Charms

As a finale to Falkirk Beginners Burlesque, there will be a screening of this French classic with a short introduction about the history and art of Burlesque and Cabaret, followed by a show-stopping curtain raiser featuring Gypsy and any (willing) class participants.
