We can offer various acts; from burlesque classics like fan dances and balloon-popping numbers to high-kicking group can-can numbers, from humorous and topical themes to customised routines to fit a theme or any occasion, we have a bank of dances to suit your requirements.

Our shows can be a study in burlesque fun and games – we have explored whether James Bond is man or woman, what happens when a frog really does turn out to be Prince Charming, and seen a gun-toting, sword-wielding showdown when Kill Bill meets the Gay Exchange chatline!

If you’re looking for something more elegant, we can provide groups of dancers to perform polished and choreographed group dance routines.  Acts in our current repertoire includes high-kicking can-cans, slinky chair dances, glamorous Las Vegas showgirl numbers, Bond girls and Bollywood-style dances.  From classic cabaret to more contemporary numbers, we can deliver.

We are constantly designing, choreographing and costuming new routines and are always happy to customise work to suit – as seasoned performers and professional dancers, we have created acts for classic cabarets, special interest groups (eg sci-fi evenings, tattoo events), birthday parties, civil partnerships, club nights and charity fundraisers.  The Academy has provided performers for various corporate and charity events, club nights around the UK, television work and as backing dancers for musicians.
